The co-founder of the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. super PAC is a Steve Bannon and MAGA media ally

Tony Lyons is the co-founder of Kennedy’s American Values 2024 super PAC and the president of Skyhorse Publishing — the company that publishes Bannon’s War Room Books imprint

Tony Lyons, the co-founder of the super PAC supporting independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is linked to prominent figures in the MAGA media world, including podcaster and former Trump strategist Steve Bannon.

Lyons is a friend of Kennedy and the co-founder of his American Values 2024 super PAC. He is also the president of Skyhorse Publishing, an independent book publishing company that has worked with numerous right-wing and MAGA media personalities, including conspiracy theorists Alex Jones, Darren Beattie, Robert Malone, and Kennedy himself, among others.

Lyons is also closely associated with Bannon and his pro-insurrection podcast. He has appeared numerous times on Bannon’s show and publishes Bannon’s War Room Books imprint via Skyhorse. Lyons has helped Bannon’s team publish at least 11 books.

In December 2023, Bannon invited Lyons on his show to celebrate Lyons’ assistance in publishing War Room and MAGA titles.

“You have heroically published so many of the great titles on medical freedom, of which nobody wanted to touch and quite frankly banned. You’re the War Room’s publisher with our imprint,” Bannon said. “Your Skyhorse is now arguably the biggest publisher of conservative or MAGA, or you could even argue right-wing, anti-establishment books.”

This was one of many appearances Lyons has made on Bannon’s War Room.

Bannon has also had a longstanding relationship with Kennedy and reportedly helped guide him into launching his campaign for the presidency. According to CBS News’ Robert Costa, Bannon encouraged Kennedy to enter the presidential race in order to act as a “useful chaos agent in 2024 race and a big name who could help stoke anti-vax sentiment around the country.”

Bannon has spent years promoting Kennedy’s anti-vaccine rhetoric and has repeatedly touted Kennedy's conspiracy theory-laden book about former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci, which was published last year by Skyhorse.
